February 2009 Part I

Caleb started lacrosse and had a tournament where he scored ten goals and his team won 4 out of 5 games in a single day. Caleb loves lacrosse. He puts forth alot of effort and it truly shows out there on the field. We sent off his application for the AP Choice program at Timber Creek high school. If accepted, he would get to be with other high achieving students in taking Advanced Placement courses to earn college credit during high school. The picture above proves that I am still his mother and I can still kiss him. I don't care how big he is!

Kayli was invited by Duke University Talent Search to take the ACT with high school students! She was one of only a hand full of 7th graders taking the test. Boy did that intimidate the high school seniors! We are anxiously awaiting the results to see if she scored high enough to take a trip to Duke University! We are so proud of her.

Adia started practicing for softball and has opening ceremonies tomorrow night and her first game is this Saturday. We are sure she will knock this sport out of the park, as usual. We will upload pictures of her first game following this weekend. She is an amazing athlete. She was also recognized at her school for her outstanding participation with the autistic children. I can't tell you how many times I've heard accolades about her and how wonderful she is with autistic children. We are going to try to get her involved in the community with autistic children as it seems she has a real gift.
